BRANDING (2005 - PRESENT)
The name Haywire is an apt description of winery owners Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie’s decision to forgo retirement and journey into farming and winemaking. The label is quite literal: a modern take on tangled wire. From there all touchpoints were implemented: packaging, signage, advertising, point of purchase materials, tasting booklets, swag, wearables, and more. Haywire’s focus is on creating lively and elegant wines that exemplify purity of fruit and remarkable freshness, led by respect for the vineyard and minimalist intervention, combined with techniques such as state-of-the-art concrete tanks, native yeast and minimal additives.
