Welcoming 2019 from Town Hall Brands

As we reflect on the year that was, Andrew and Leeann would like to thank the Town Hall Brands team, clients, and all of those in the public, trade, and media who support our clients.

This last day of 2018 is the day we reflect.

If you follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, you will see our celebrations of team and clients, and the good side of life. Most of us know that social media, as the highlight reel, can be misleading. The reality of running a small business is that it is not as glam as the public face often makes things look. In 2018, for the first time since we opened 5 years ago, we had some challenges.  Managing the flow of projects, clients, income and the needed team has resulted in changes. We’ve seen team members move on, put in many late nights and weekends as owners, and are determining the needs for 2019.

We have taken the issues we had and have used them to learn from. With the lessons learned, we have decided to be less emotionally-driven, keep the organization lean, and be more discerning regarding the projects we work on and who we work with. What lessons have you been taught in 2018?

The last quarter of 2018 saw a big turnaround: we have wonderful clients, made some fantastic wins, have creative projects ahead, and a super-talented team in place to implement. We are feeling very positive for the future.

Maybe most exciting of all, we start 2019 as a Top 10 in BC for Best Marketer via Small Business BC!
