Town Hall Brands Celebrates Silver Medal for Cambium Cider Packaging

We are over the moon to share some exciting news!

Our packaging refresh for Cambium Cider Co. has won a silver medal in the 2025 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition!

The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is the largest competition of American wines in the world. In January, more than 60 professional judges—spanning fields like trade, education, media, retail, and hospitality—evaluated more than 7,000 entries from across North America.

When the Cambium team approached us, they sought a fresh name and brand identity to better reflect their roots in a generational family orchard. Our design inspiration was drawn directly from nature—the beautiful rings of the apple trees that have nurtured their family for three generations.

Our Approach

Our talented lead designer, Marina, hand-painted custom watercolour illustrations of tree rings, taking care to highlight the cambium layer—a symbol of growth and provision over the years. The transparent quality of watercolour allowed us to create layers that mirror the natural textures found in the trees.

Each ring on the labels tells a story, celebrating Cambium’s orchard legacy and their incredible craft cider.

We’re incredibly proud to have collaborated with Cambium Cider on this project and even more excited to see this design recognized on a global stage. Special kudos to Marina for her artistry and dedication to this project!

If in Vernon, the cidery is a must-visit.

Cheers to Cambium Cider and the generations of growth behind every sip!
